Rivermount College welcomes enrolment enquiries from International students. Our aim is to provide an authentic Australian schooling experience where International students are integrated into the mainstream educational environment of the College. Admission to the College is subject to the availability of places.

International students applying for enrolment at Rivermount College are required to provide records showing satisfactory levels of academic achievement and English language skills appropriate to the courses being offered. Students will be required to sit for a reading comprehension and written expression exam.

All subjects and courses offered to International students have stated educational outcomes as specified in curriculum handbooks and individual work programs. A summary of subjects and courses is available to International students to assist them in making a suitable selection. More detailed information regarding assessment is available from the Admissions Office.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT:
Students must abide by the rules and regulations of the College and the terms and payment conditions as specified in the International Student Handbook and the International Fee Schedule. Copies are available upon request from the Admissions Office. Once the requirements have been met, Rivermount College will attend to the issue of a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) for International Students. This will enable the student to apply for their visa to take up study in Australia.
Students must comply with the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) regarding regulations governing international student entry into Australia. International students are required to purchase Overseas Health Cover for private medical insurance. The College is able to obtain such cover on the Student's behalf. International students should also seek prior approval from DIMIA before commencing a new course or changing courses.
CODE OF ETHICS:
As a registered provider of courses for International Students, the College is bound by the Code of Ethics developed by the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA). Copies of the Code of Ethics are available on request from the College or from the Queensland Education Overseas Unit.
Rivermount College will assist students in finding appropriate homestay arrangements, which will provide a supporting and caring environment throughout the duration of their stay. Full details on the expectations and guidelines for homestay and student welfare are available from the College.
