Annual Rivermount College School Fair goes easy on the family budget

Rivermount College Family and Friends Annual Fair on September 6 is not only shaping up to be the College’s most diverse but a great family day out that won’t break the budget!

President of the Rivermount College Family and Friends, Peter Nielson, says it’s becoming increasingly difficult for families to enjoy a day out without the high costs involved. “We’ve kept that in mind, when organising activities, so parents and their children can participate in some traditional carnival activities without costing a fortune.” There’s still the sideshows and rides, but there’s also a big range of free activities, music and entertainment displays, low cost food stalls and lots of inexpensive games of chance like the Tombola to keep everyone happy on a budget.

The Fair is an integral part of the children’s school year and each child is involved in a stall or activity. School principal, Dr Nancy Hillier says “The Spring Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students, parents and staff to work together, have fun, and raise money for important developments on our campus.”

The Country Spring Fair is on at Rivermount College, September 6 between Take Exit 38 off the M1.
