Rivermount College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian College with a vibrant and inclusive community. Established in 1992, the College caters for over 1000 students from Prep to Year 12. The College is continuing to positively expand and in 2021 a Kindergarten year will be introduced.

The College is seeking applications from highly motivated, experienced and qualified individuals for the position of Teacher Aide – Learning Support. This role will predominately support the needs of students in the Secondary School from Year 7 to Year 10 and is available for a Term 1 start. Offered as a term time contract, the role will encompass on campus duties Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The successful applicant will aid students receiving learning support programs both in the classroom and learning support environments. Experience working with students with special needs as well as learning and behavioural disorders is essential.

Teacher Aides at Rivermount College must be able to demonstrate proven experience working with students requiring support and have a current Working with Children Clearance. A minimum qualification at Certificate III level or equivalent, in a relevant field, is required.
