Rivermount College benefits from being a relatively young school, with facilities reflecting our modern era. The College campus promotes a tranquil environment where teaching and learning facilities are blended into the natural beauty of the landscape. Students are able to enjoy a peaceful learning environment free from the noise and disruption of traffic and development.
The College provides learning facilities from Prep to Year 12 on one campus. Our specialist facilities for Design and Technology, Home Economics, Visual Arts and Science enables students to enthusiastically pursue their academic interests. The College Resource Centre is available to all students with a large collection of teaching and learning resources; computer facilities; air-conditioned lecture rooms; career guidance information and quiet study areas.
The campus computer network provides students with wireless internet access, their own email accounts and access to the College’s wide range of computer applications and subject specific software. Students have access to the Colleges information and communication technology network from five purpose built computer laboratories including a Junior School computer laboratory and laboratories for multimedia, graphics design, science technology and research.
All classrooms across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools are air-conditioned and equipped with data projectors and interactive whiteboards.
Sporting and recreational facilities are extensive, and include multiple sporting fields, 25 metre swimming pool, indoor and outdoor courts, age appropriate playgrounds and our own unique campsite. The undulating terrain also provides a challenging cross country course enjoyed by our students and visiting athletes.
The Colin Young Community Centre provides a multi-purpose hall facility with resources for the Performing Arts, indoor sports and gymnasium, assemblies and events as well as a canteen.
