Celebrating Student Creativity and Courage at Drama Night!

The recent Drama Night Workshop brought together students from Years 7 to 12 for a captivating evening of performance and creativity, showcasing the courage and commitment of our young artists.

The event featured contributions from the A1 Drama Club and Years 10 and 11 Drama students, who bravely shared drafts of their upcoming assessment pieces. The evening’s performances included two original plays written by Year 12 students: The Origin of National Tiles by Co-Arts Captain Aleya Stork, and The Anatomy of Love by Leigh Hugyecz, winner of a recent playwriting competition.

Co-Arts Captain Esme Wyer also delivered a powerful solo monologue, with the evening rounded out by short scenes, plays, and a lively improvisation during intermission.

Congratulations to the students and thank you to the staff who devoted their time to creating the magical moments both on stage and behind the scenes. Thank you also to the families who attended the evening in support of our Performing Arts stars in the making!
