In the ideal environment, learning comes naturally

Located on the banks of the picturesque Albert River at Yatala, Rivermount College provides students with a truly unique learning environment.

The College campus promotes a serene and calm environment where teaching and learning facilities are blended into the natural beauty of the landscape. Students are able to enjoy a peaceful learning environment free from the noise and disruption of traffic and development.

Our extensive learning and recreational facilities for Kindergarten to Year 12 are located on one campus. The College property is 79 acres in size and has been strategically designed to compliment the native ambiance of the rural landscape.

EARLY LEARNING CENTRE: Our Prep and Year 1 students enjoy their own specialist learning area that is friendly, welcoming and age appropriate. In 2021, the College introduced Kindy as part of our Early Learning Program.

PRIMARY SCHOOL: Year 2 to Year 6 students have access to facilities that are conducive to learning with spacious, air-conditioned classrooms and access to extensive outdoor learning spaces.

SECONDARY SCHOOL: From Year 7 to Year 12, students are able to access specialist state of the art facilities that provide the essential tools to pursue their academic interests. Our facilities enable students to access age appropriate playgrounds, handball courts, shaded and quiet areas to socialise and unwind and our very own campground along the banks of the Albert River.

SPORTING FACILITIES: Our students enjoy an array of recreational and sporting facilities including a 25 metre swimming pool, indoor and outdoor courts and extensive playing fields. The undulating terrain also provides a challenging and highly acclaimed cross country course enjoyed by our students and visiting athletes.

THE ARTS: Custom designed rooms are available for students engaging with the Performing Arts Program, Music and Visual Art.

STUDENT WELL-BEING: The welfare of our students is paramount. With a Registered Nurse, Counsellors, Specialist Aides and Occupational Therapist we are also able to offer support to our students.
