Colour Run 2023

The Families and Friends Association are excited to once again host the Rivermount College Colour Run. This event is all about Fun! It will be a huge colourful mess and everyone is invited to join in.

What is a Colour Run?

A Colour Run is a 'fun and happy event' where students participate in an untimed fun run and are doused from head to toe in different coloured powders. Watch the short video below to learn about our co-sponsor 'School Fun Run' and the awesome colour run concept.

What to wear on the day

The theme for the Families and Friends Association in 2023 is 'In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND! We have designed a special white t-shirt with the BE KIND logo proudly featured.

The 2023 Families and Friends Colour Run T-shirt packs will be available for purchase on Parent Lounge via the Events and Payments tab. The special edition pack includes a ‘Be Kind’ T-Shirt with wrist sweat band and multicolour glasses. The cost for this pack is $15.00 and a large selection of sizes are available. If you would like to support the Association and take advantage of this offer, please make payment before 5.00pm on Friday 17 March.

Primary packs will be delivered to classrooms on Wednesday 22 March, Secondary students are able to collect their packs from the sports canteen on Tuesday 21 March and Wednesday 22 March before school (8.00am to 8.35am), and during morning tea and lunch breaks

Imagine how awesome this shirt will be with splashes of colour all over it. Alternatively, students can also supply their own white T-shirts. View the special edition T-Shirt pack here

How Does My Child Fundraise?

Firstly, go to and create a student profile page.

Students who raise just $10 will be able to participate in the event and choose a prize! The more money you raise, the better the prizes! So, work hard and you might be able to earn yourself a Tablet, a Hoverboard or even a dirt bike!

You can also earn badges and send your friends stickers.

Online Fundraising

The easiest way to help your child raise money is through online fundraising. To start fundraising online, go to your student profile page at and share your online fundraising link.

The great thing about online fundraising is that you can share the link to your child’s profile with friends and family via email, SMS and Social Media.

Online fundraising is a safe alternative to door-knocking and a great way for extended family to support the event.

We have teamed up with School Fun Run to offer students an amazing selection of prizes. There are even prizes for the best fundraising class in the College. To view the incredible selection please click here.
