Our Kindy students recently enjoyed visits from our local emergency services, with officers from the Queensland Police Service and Fire Department spending time with the children for a fun and educational experience.
During their visit, Firefighters carefully aided the delighted students as they aimed a powerful stream of water, taking turns using a real fire hose! Our little learners were also eager to explore some emergency equipment up close, including the lights and sirens on a Fire Truck and Police Car.
Throughout the visits, the students asked thoughtful questions and enthusiastically engaged with the officers, gaining a greater understanding of the important roles our emergency service workers play in keeping the community safe, teamwork and helping others.
We are grateful to the Queensland Police Service and Fire Department for taking the time to visit and create memorable experiences for our students.
