Outstanding Results for Cheer Teams at AASCF All Star Classic and Australasian Majors

The College’s Cheer and Pom teams have had an impressive run of results this season, showing off both skill and spirit at two major competitions held recently on the Gold Coast.

Our teams, comprising of Year 2 to Year 12 students, competed at the AASCF All Star Classic at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Carrara. Their skills and routines impressed the judges who awarded them with four (4) firsts and one (1) third place at this event.

Building on that success, the teams also competed in the Australasian Majors, which CheerBrandz hosted at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. After dynamic performances in their respective categories, the Emeralds and Sapphires earned first place, the Diamonds placed second, and our Platinum team took home third place.

Cheer and Pom is a high-energy sport that builds discipline, fitness, confidence and teamwork. Through the sport, students develop physical skills, including strength, coordination and endurance, whilst learning to communicate effectively, build trust, and work collaboratively, in a positive and inclusive environment.

The results from these competitions reflect the dedication of our students and the excellent support from their coaches, staff and families.
