Rock Solid and Rising: Backline Masters Powerhouse Performance in Battle of the Bands
Our Secondary student band, Backline Masters, recently took part in Rocking the Nation, an ultimate battle of the bands competition that searches for the hottest Pop Rock talent in schools around the country. Among a high standard of entries in this year’s contest, the band was praised by the judges for having a rock-steady rhythm team and a front person who brings genuine energy. The judges also commended the students’ driving tempos and emotive vocals, saying their already strong performance could reach even greater heights over time.
Congratulations to band members Cooper Akins-Brown (Year 10), Talan Chestnut (Year 12), Michael Dummer (Year 10), Huter Fry (Year 10), and William Hinkins (Year 10), for representing RMC with passion, commitment, and creativity. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and look forward to seeing them strive for finals victory again next year!
