Showcasing Rivermount’s Talented Visual Artists

Rivermount’s Visual Art program offers students the opportunity to communicate personal interpretations by using their creativity to innovatively solve problems and experiment with visual language and expression as a form of artistic communication. Students interact with artists, artworks, institutions and communities to enrich their experiences and understanding of their own and others’ art practices.

Celebrating the achievements of the talented artists within the College, we recently recognised Secondary students that have demonstrated commitment to their studies in Visual Art, which resulted in their works being selected for various exhibitions and professional gallery settings this year.

Artwaves at the Logan Art Gallery: an annual art exhibition of work sourced from the talented high school students in the Logan region.

Energies at HOTA on the Gold Coast: a platform for senior students to exhibit, showcasing exemplary work while supporting career pathways and further study in the arts.

CGEN - The Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art: a regional exhibition that recognises and promotes excellence in art education throughout Queensland schools.
