For the past 32 years, the College has proudly supported World Vision, an organisation focused on creating meaningful global change including relief for famine, a crisis that impacts an estimated one in six children worldwide. World Vision is a dynamic global charity with projects in countries such as Sudan, Uganda, Somalia, Ethiopia, Myanmar and many more vulnerable communities devastated by disasters including exploitation, poverty, and war.
Continuing a tradition of compassion and giving, our Student Representative Council (SRC) recently hosted a Winter-themed Free Dress Day to raise awareness and support for World Vision. On the day, students from Kindy to Year 12, along with College staff, cozied up in comfortable clothing in exchange for a gold coin donation to support life changing projects here in Australia and overseas. From Oodies to hoodies, jeans and jeggings, the College community embraced the opportunity to unite in support of global change and transformational development.
