With wide eyes and curious minds, our Year 2 students recently enjoyed a day of awe-inspiring encounters with marine life at SeaWorld. Discovering more about the life and habitats of animals such as jellyfish, dolphins, turtles and penguins, students were also delighted with an educational session on seals, where they uncovered more about the sea mammals’ habitats and their training techniques.
SeaWorld educators spoke about the importance of conservation through the Take 3 for the Sea initiative, encouraging people to help protect oceans by picking up three pieces of rubbish when visiting waterways.
The fun day out of the classroom left a lasting impact on our students, delivering a deeper appreciation for marine life and the importance of caring for our environment.
Thank you to the parent helpers and volunteers for your support in making this adventure possible.
