Year 5 Camp Builds Confidence and Connection

Our Year 5 students enjoyed an unforgettable experience on their three-day adventure at Maroochy Waterfront Camp. The annual event plays a key role in the Year 5 curriculum, with activities centred on teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.

Guided by expert facilitators from Character Builders, students participated in a range of exciting challenges designed to foster resilience, cooperation, and self-confidence. Highlights included stand-up paddleboarding, dragon-boat racing, kayaking, and a series of creative initiative games that had everyone thinking, collaborating, and laughing together.

Beyond the fun and adventure, the camp also helped students reflect on what it means to be a leader. As they look ahead to Year 6, the skills and confidence developed over these three days will serve them well as they step into their roles as the leaders of our Primary School next year.
