Blakely Simpson Sets Another Milestone on the Way to Queensland Cross Country Team
Through her hard work, resilience and determination, Year 3 student, Blakely Simpson, has enjoyed an outstanding cross country season this year. Recently competing at her first Pacific District Cross Country Championships, Blakely claimed first place in the 10-Year Girls Multi-Class event, progressing to the South Coast Regional Cross Country Championships. At the event, she delivered another fantastic performance, finishing third and setting a record personal best in the 10-12 Years Multi-Class division.
Blakely is now set to represent South Coast at the Queensland School Sport Cross Country Championships this weekend, where she will compete for the opportunity to be selected in the Queensland School Sport Cross Country Team. Blakely has overcome many challenges to reach this point, and we are delighted to help cheer her on!
