Ellie Hammers a Standout Season of State Success!
Ellie has enjoyed an exceptional year representing Rivermount College through various state Athletics competitions. In October, at the All Schools State Championships in Townsville, Ellie’s dominant gold medal performance saw her throw an impressive 46.78 metres in the Hammer Throw event, winning by more than 10 metres. Her success continued at the Queensland Athletics State Championships in Brisbane, where she once again secured first place, reinforcing her position as one of the state’s leading young athletes.
Ellie’s season is far from over. Next week, she will fly to Melbourne to compete at the Australian All Schools Track and Field Championships, proudly representing both Queensland and Rivermount College on the national stage.
