Gold for College Duke of Edinburgh Students!
The College is proud to formally recognise four Year 12 students and one alumnus who have recently achieved the prestigious Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a globally recognised youth development program that encourages young people to challenge themselves, discover new passions, serve their communities and embrace adventure. Achieving Gold is a significant accomplishment, requiring dedication and commitment across voluntary service, physical recreation, skill development, adventurous journeys and a residential project.
Throughout their journey, participants develop resilience, independence, confidence and valuable life skills, while making a meaningful contribution to those around them. Reaching the Gold level is a remarkable achievement that reflects perseverance, determination and a willingness to step beyond their comfort zones.
