Our Year 3 students recently brought their Science Studies to life with a hands-on excursion to Paradise Country on the Gold Coast. The trip supported their learning about living and non-living things, allowing students to closely observe animals and plants and compare their life cycles and growth patterns.
An interactive gold and opal mining activity also enabled the students to dig further into Geology, marking the end of their Term 2 studies on soils, rocks, and minerals.
The day was filled with real-world discovery, sparking curiosity and reinforcing key science concepts outside the classroom.
