Our Primary students enthusiastically celebrated diversity and community spirit at this week’s Multicultural Day, an exciting event showcasing the many cultures represented within our College community.
Touring the globe via interactive stations, our world travellers participated in 14 activities and games, each unique to a particular country. The activities included welly throwing, quidditch, mime, Irish bracelet-making, dancing, and the ever-popular Nutbush. With their “passports” on hand to earn stamps after visiting each country, students then proceeded to the Passport Office for a chance to win a prize.
The event was a wonderful showcase of College spirit, harmony, and interactive fun outside the classroom. Thank you to the staff and Secondary students who helped to bring the world to Rivermount!
