Mullets for Mental Health

A bad haircut for a good cause! That's the theme for the Black Dog Institute’s September fundraiser in support of Mental Health. Getting a Mullet for Mental Health is designed to raise awareness for important research and several of our students and staff are proudly joining in.

Year 12 students Joel Bennet, Hayden Rowe, Noah Cottrell, and Charles Smallacombe, along with Secondary Teacher, Mr Jack Griffith, eagerly joined the cause with support from the College. The bold move to cut their hair and proudly sport a mullet will help raise essential awareness for Mental Health. In Australia, around 5 million people will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year, and roughly 60% of these people won’t seek help.
