Team RMC delivered an outstanding performance at the recent QUT Moot Competition, held at QUT Gardens Point. As part of their Legal Studies units, the students competed over two days against 61 other school teams, presenting on a criminal law matter as both prosecution and defence.
Competition judges, comprised of practising prosecutors and legal academics, were impressed with the team’s strong advocacy skills, especially as first-time competitors! The senior students achieved an inspiring, combined score of 315, placing them in the top quarter of the field.
Congratulations to College representatives Olivia Morony (Year 11), Emily Gaskain (Year 11) and Brock Beynon-Steinfeld (Year 12), who are eagerly refining their skills for future competitions.
