In their final week of Term 2, our Year 8 cohort swapped classrooms for the great outdoors on their highly anticipated 5-day adventure at Emu Gully Adventure Camp. Set amongst a natural backdrop and centred around stories from Australia’s ANZAC history, the camp challenged students to step outside their comfort zones while developing valuable life skills.
Staying in shared tents and embracing the outdoors, campers participated in a range of activities designed to build resilience, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving.
Throughout the week, students discovered new strengths, celebrated personal achievements and learned the importance of responsibility and belonging.
Emu Gully was a memorable experience for all involved, leaving students with greater confidence, stronger friendships and lasting memories. Congratulations to all the students for their excellent effort throughout the week. Special thanks to the staff who ensured students had a safe and memorable time away.
