Year Two visit Hinze Dam

This term our Year 2 students have been busy learning about the water cycle. As part of their science studies, the cohort recently participated in an excursion to Hinze Dam. With all the rain we have had in recent weeks, the group was lucky enough to see the dam over its capacity. The students were filled with amazement as they watched the excess water being released through the spillway. It was a spectacular sight to behold. The highlight of the excursion was performing a water experiment to discover the strongest part of the dam followed by a well-deserved rest in the shade.
