On completion, these qualifications may contribute 4 to 8 points towards their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), depending on the level of qualification undertaken.

Currently Rivermount students are involved in the following traineeships, TAFE courses and online Courses, however, opportunities are available in a wide range of occupations.

  • Building and Construction
  • Business
  • Carpentry
  • Child Care
  • Crime and Justice Studies

  • Nursing

Additionally, as part of the College’s commitment to best prepare our students for the senior phase of education and beyond, Year 10 students have the opportunity to complete a Certificate II course.  This enables students to gain experience and a qualification that will allow them to seek employment and, indeed, enhance their opportunity to gain employment by setting them apart from the field. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be credited with 4 points towards their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
